Pipinui Lodge late afternoon. Pipinui Lodge itself. Post sunset glow from inside the lodge, waiting for the stars to come out. Mana Island seen from the point at sunset. Unusual to see as much of the west side of the island - most views from the mainland see the eastern side.. The view late evening from the outdoor heated bath tub. Soaking under the stars is definitely a thing. South Island rendered into pastel shades by sea mist. Also the South Island rendered into pastel shades by sea mist. Stars and a comet (top left) finally begin to appear in the sunset glow. Comet Leonard, in all it's green glory. The lack of lights around made for an excellent dark night sky to see the comet. Pipinui Lodge by sunset with the wind farm and south island visible. The setting sun across the point itself. Post sunset with the point, a sea mist and the South Island. Early morning sunrise cloud vibes. Loved this piece of wood on the drive out from the lodge. Moon setting in the morning with clouds out to sea. Looking down from the lodge to see the wave action. Staying as a paying quest I got the chance to see the setting sun, hunt for Comet Leonard and enjoyed the amazing views across the Cook Strait to the South Island.
